It was pretty cool

Cross Country Canada!!!! My favorite was delivering stuff to Quebec and being there for that snow festival, that giant snowman thing would come on the screen hahaha. I remember that in our computer room at school, there were only a few of the apple computers with color screens, so it was a mad dash as soon as we got through the door.

Ohhhhhh my god, Ultima Online is the shit. Hands down best mmorpg ever. I've gone back and played on freeshards twice now but it just isn't the same without the huge amount of people. God I love this game.

Anyone played infantry?

as you said, i dont think i have or ever will experiance a game like everquest ever again, i really wish i could go back and play it how it was in it's kunark stage, man i was addicted but it was a truely awsome game, gives me good feelings remebering some of the play times man..

My friend used to be totally into that game in high school. Man, games back then were way more hardcore than today. Running for hours to get back to your corpse, begging people for SOWs and ports, camping spawns only to get your xp jacked by higher level douchebags, pressing the god damn sense heading button every 2 seconds, haha. None of this pay for your corpse back at a tombstone and instancing shit!

Oh I still remember before the bazaar, there were tons of people that traded shit in the caves near some desert. My friend would use the inventory exploit to steal peoples items LOL... where if they put too many things in the trade window and you pressed cancel it would drop the stuff they couldn't hold instead of auto-equipping it back onto their character. Yeah it was pretty mean but that was in high school.

^ lol nice yea eq was pretty rough when you died, in comparison wow is childs play

And yea before bazaar everyone was either in east commons or greater faydark which was where my servers auctions were in the tree city, lol it was so great having to shout what u had for sale then have ppl come take a look

Yeah us too!
From when we left the classroom to when we got to the computer room, it was all a mad dash LOL

sas 02-16-2009 06:58 PM

At my school, it wasn't so much of a mad dash to the computers with colour, but to snatch the floppy disks of oregon trail, carmen sandiego etc.. You did not want to be stuck with math blaster.

I don't think kids these days even know what a floppy disk looks like.

omega_cc 02-16-2009 10:33 PM
