Gaming memories

forget Call of Duty 4. forget Halo. forget Counterstrike.

this is what I grew up playing.

no other game has ever held my interest like this beauty. so much time. so many memories.

circa 1996?

The Hype 02-12-2009 11:53 PM

Funny enough, I never played Team Fortress until maybe '99?

If anyone remember's this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...00px-Mplay.jpg I was on it all the time playing my most favorite mod ever, QBall for the original Quake. So much fun... That took up a ton of my time after I'd gotten tired of Duke Nukem 3D, and Wolfenstein before that.

TOPEC 02-13-2009 12:23 AM

Contra for the Nintendo

Tecmo Bowl for the Nintendo because the graphics and gameplay were so awesome. Walter Payton ripped it up.

Then for PC is was Ultima Online. Still imo the best mmorpg ever for it's time. It was so cool to be able to walk anywhere and kill anyone and take there stuff at anytime.

Presto 02-13-2009 07:54 AM

I played Ultima Online for a bit, but i couldn't get into it. Then Everquest came out:

It is the most fun and time I've spent on a video game. Lots of memories with this game: Adventuring with friends, level grinding, making mad money in the Bazaar, building up smithing skill to 250. Wow... I wish I could go back and do that again. I still remember the countless hours spent in Permafrost, camping for the Mammoth Hide Cloak.

lol, i still have some of those games and play them once in a while. TMNT 2 was fricken hard, but if i remember correctly, you'd be screwed if you didn't have enough rockets with your van to blast through barriers to get to the last levels.

anyone have Colleco Vision?

If you dont know, apple2e bitch. Sure, NES was great, atari was cool, but the pinical of gaming was the apple back in the day.

For all of you longing for just one more round of Captian goodnight, rescue raiders, or Aztec you can thank me later.
