He's Just Not That Into You

Watched it on Thursday and I was somewhat disappointed in the movie. The storyline behind it is cute...but I just thought it was very disorganized and hard to follow at times. They had way too many people in the movie and I'd forget who was with who.

Wasn't that funny as I thought it would be but it was fun to watch with the girls.

What did you guys think?

all i know is its a chick flick, and because it came from a best selling novel, ppl are flocking to see it.

It's not even a novel, it's a self-help book. I'm not sure why they thought they could make it into a movie. Won't be paying to see this.

thats because there has been a good money making trend of novels, books, comics turning into movies. i think writters are just running out of plots to write about for movies, so go with a working idea from a book/novel/comic and develop it into a bankable movie.

I think this quote was the best in the movie...

"I had this guy leave me a voicemail at work, so I called him at home, and then he emailed me to my BlackBerry, and so I texted to his cell, and now you just have to go around checking all these different portals just to get rejected by seven different technologies."

I thought it was pretty decent. I especially loved the scene where Jennifer Connelly broke the mirror and then immediately cleaned it up.

^Loved that Jennifer Connelly moment.

Saw it a couple of nights ago. I agree that the characters were a little hard to follow but I thought there were quite a few funny/cute moments.

i'm surprised u guys found it difficult to follow whom was chasing whom.
seemed pretty straightforward to me, and nice to see how all the characters relate and somehow tie together in some way

good movie--not just another chick flick imo

I thought this movie would be a good comedy like.. forgetting sarah marshall but this movie was a TOTAL chick flick.. I went to see it with a few guys and it felt awkward with them .. it was still a decent movie overall though I'd say (~7/10) even though I won't admit it to them.

It was pretty funny how for short periods of time they would have people talking about their experiences, when it came to the two black ladies talking about how they were dumped I was thinking back to the last few months of my life and I could identify what type of break up they were talking about lol because I've been doing that a lot lately

Now that I think about it... This movie was like a remake of Love Actually, except Love Actually was a million times better.
