Something I noticed about girls?

Hi,

I just want to say plz leave honest opinions as i don want this topic to go into the wrong direction.
note that nothing sexual is implied.

I was curious if anyone noticed dat girls seem to enjoy sitting wit their shoes off or go shoeless altogethe in places other then their homes?
Now i know that with sandals or high heels or flats for instance withch are ez to slip off that's normal and of course who wants to sweat in their shoes right?

but

what im referring to is more with sneakers an socks. for instance, couple weeks ago at a coffee shop where ppl were doing hw n stuff, i noticed a girl and her bf sitting by the window, and she had her sneakers off and was siting cross legged in her socks with her bf standing next to her while they were usign the laptop. Other examples like in the library or during lectures or in lounge areas at school where a girl or more will have their sneakers off and sit with their legs on the couch either crosslegged or in some 'girly' position like half cross legged half just legs folded but to the side iono how to describe lol

my gf does this too in the car sometimes n puts her feet on the dashboard. I dont mind because a) i dont have a foot phobia like some ppl and b) she keeps her socks clean etc. and it doesnt smell

to the point. Do u guys notice this abt girls? I know its wrong to generalize it to girls becaus dudes do it tooo but girls do it way way way way way more.
is it just somethin thats socially acceptable when girls do it? are girls just more "loose" and like to be 'comfortable'? are they just trying to look cute and innocent?

second of all...is it "wrong" to do stuff like this? Im talkin about informal situations like wit friends or bf/gf etc but at the same time, in a public or semi public setting where u normally wouldnt take off ur shoes...

i dont have a foot fetish dont get the wrong idea. I just happen to notice this alot. i mean i really dont mind if someone does it because as i said, if they are comfortable and a) not formal situation b) theres no issue with foot odor and c) they r not purposely doing it to piss me off

but just curious wat u guys think? have u noticed? wats with that?

TheRaySta 02-16-2009 05:10 AM

Haha, Ya I notice this too. And sometimes you get the girls with brown stains on their white socks.

Aetios 02-16-2009 06:34 AM

I like girls with smelly feet.

hk20000 02-16-2009 06:51 AM

ooh yeah now that you mention it girls do like to get their feet naked a lot.

Are female's shoes designed to be really uncomfortable to wear or something?

Your first post on RS is this...wow haha.

Nightwalker 02-16-2009 07:40 AM

I've noticed that. Lots of nerve endings in the foot, probably just feels nice.

LemonH2O 02-16-2009 07:51 AM

It's just more comfortable.
Now heels, flip flops, anything dressy are usually not comfortable, you
should try walking around in those 4 inch heels few hours, those would
be off any straight man's feet within minutes. (But yes, we do it anyway)
so when those come off, there's justified reason.
Sneakers off, not too sure.
I have a socks thing with people I don't know, since I do know people who
will go a few days with the same socks. I guess sneakers off to cross your legs is comfortable
when you're sitting awhile.

jimzilla 02-16-2009 09:48 AM

the only lady friends that ive noticed that keep their shoes on are the foot phobia types, other then that most of the girls i know take their shoes off as fast as they can

Grandmaster TSE 02-16-2009 10:02 AM

i notice some girls i know do that
its all good as long as they don't have stinky feet

Psykopathik 02-16-2009 10:35 AM

if you wore the same dumbass types of shoes women wear, you'd wanna take them off every chance you get.

high heels and pointed toes....what moron thought up that shit? no padding, nothing!

i only wear comfy runners. i think twice before going to partied that require dress shoes.

Comfort? People weren't born with shoes, they aren't natural. Most shoes suck balls anyway.

Tamas?

_Hotsauce_ 02-16-2009 12:32 PM

^
Grammer is kinda shitty for Tamas, unless theres more then one...haha

Also, sitting in Serious Coffee right now and a chick took off her shoes to sit cross legged in the chair. Makes sense instead of having shoes on the furniture.

caramel604 02-16-2009 12:59 PM

its comfy...~

tbh i dun get why it would be funny tho
is it just because the subject is abt something thats a 'social taboo' ?
alot of ppl post even stranger topics lol n still idun think my topic is strange at all, its merely an observation which i know many ppl will notice too.

Tamas?
and for the not having shoes on furniture i thought abt that too cuz at school on couches etc girls sit cross leggged in socks instaed of putting their shoes on there. i guess that might be a good reason. tbh i hate seeing ppl step on couches wit shoes on...now that is dirty.

also i am only referring to sneakers n socks. i know high heels, flats etc are uncomfortable and takin those off are a given. but sneakers are usually comfortable but girls tend to do it anyway. i noticed mostly asian girls doo it, although ppl of all races do it too (maybe i notice asian more cuz there are more asians in general here).

seems that girls like to let loose more, especially wen one friend does it usually anotehr will follow suit. just seems interesting girls have this 'quality' abt them where they like to sit wit their feet up crosslegged or w/e comfy position n have their shoes off.

B-DiZzLe 02-16-2009 01:19 PM

my gf does it all the time, her feet never stink though... she says it's a comfort thing, she loves slippers and barely wears socks... <--- I know

I would hav to disagree. its my gf afterall, n she showers everyday, n changes socks as im sure most ppl do. who can get mad abt hello kitty socks lol! just sayin.

she dun look like some hobo wit dirty socks wit holes in em etc putting there feet up u know. that would be a diff story.

doorknobs n bathroom seats hav much much more bacteria n r much dirtier imo

anyway ya i just happen to notice this abt girls lol
somewhat of a quirk i guess lol (the whole shoes off thingy) not that i hav a problmem wit it

Nvasion 02-16-2009 05:59 PM

in mens defence, noone told women they had to wear heels, sure its sexy and shit but noone forced you. men have to deal with hiding their boners infront of hot girls so girls should just accept the fact that wearing heels are a bitch but fuck do it if you wanna look good.

all in all.... take off your shoes w/e lol

not only that but men used to wear heels......long time ago.

1990TSI 02-16-2009 08:45 PM

If the girl is wearing DCs she can keep them on whenever she wants, it's actually encouraged in some parts of my bed.

If not DC, fuck em, I don't want to see them.

I do notice about the dashboard thing though, girls are weird.

Amuse 02-16-2009 08:46 PM

That's because the boots that they all wear makes their feet really hot and stuffy. They don't want their feet to sweat so they get some fresh air.

KingDeeCee 02-16-2009 08:56 PM

I hope the car isn't moving when her feet are on the dashboard. Wait....why would you guys even be in a car to have a chance to relax like that.

lightx9 02-16-2009 09:00 PM

lol guys i said im talking bout sneakers and socks, or otherwise comfy shoes.
im NOT talkin abt heels or flats or w/e shoes u wwear without socks.

n for the driving, yes were moving, and yea i guess it would be dangerous if there was an accident. still, ull notice girls do that alot. i cant count how many times during the sumer i look over at another car and the bf driving n gf in passneger seat wit her feet on the dash (socks). althou heels/flats which means bare feet is more prevalent but im referring more to sneakers n socks here which is also quite common
