The Reader. 7.5/10
Michael Berg and Kate Winslet

Movie is based in Post WWII Germany about a boy (15 ish) who has an affair with a lady named Hanna. Their relationship is based upon the kid reading to older lady and this lasted for a summer. One day the two separates.
Fast forward to a court trial regarding some Nazi war and the boys sees the old lady again and he holds some interesting information.

Sorry to be so freaking brief but i dont' want to ruin the movie for anyone. I do want to say a few things. I rarely read about a movie's summary before I watch it because I dont' want it to ruin it for me. I also do enjoy watching great films with nominations and awards, this was one of them. What i did NOT know was the fact there were so much nudity in this film. It was definitely a great film, but i didn't expect it to see anyone naked at all, but it happened with a minor vs an older lady back in the 1955s so it was totally akward. Please make sure you are aware of this before you watch this.

Kate did a good job in the film. I do not know why she was nominated at best supportive attress cause clearly she was the lead in the movie.

Spoiler!

I read the book in my German Literature class, the story is very good. Not sure about the movie, I'll go see it when I have time... I'm a little hesitant as movies from books aren't always the best. A good example was "Perfume: a story of murder" the book was a lot better than the movie.
