I don't think LA stands a chance....OKC played HORRIBLE today imo, and they still somehow managed to pull out the win....Lakers fucked themselves over today, similar to how the Grizzlies fucked themselves against the Clips.

I agree.. OKC had an off game. Curious to how the lakers would react next game. Late but kinda surprised 76ers won lol

Surprised that they won after the horrible start they had being down 20-5 in the first quarter, BUT not surprised they won in general, since they match up perfectly with the 76ers and have more depth and versatility.

-gotta give props to Durant for the clutch 3 pointer in the fourth quarter. That was a gutsy shot to make.

This cold blooded killer put a dagger into the Lakers' heart.

-good article about KD finding the balance between distributing the ball and being aggressive as a scorer:

People don't realize how important Bosh is to this team....Hibbert is killing them on the defensive end because all he has to do is play helpside defense....he has nobody else to worry about....

Mozo 05-20-2012 01:10 PM

Wade getting hot, I like what I see. No homo

Finally Haslem starts hitting those mid-range jumpers.....Those used to be like layups to him....

Lebron doing a little pre-game reading lol.

Wow.....40 points, 18 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks,

Mozo 05-20-2012 02:46 PM

The league MVP played like a worthy candidate for playoff MVP. Like what LeBron said at the courtside interview, it's gonna be a dogfight to play the Pacers. -still like the Heat's chances back at home.

Haslem played better with one eye half shut than with both eyes wide open when he made those midrange jumpers. He's the Heat's most reliable big man compared to Joel Anthony's inconsistent play.

dachinesedude 05-20-2012 09:35 PM

sweep sweep sweep aw yea

Verdasco 05-20-2012 09:39 PM

:ohgodwhy: chris paul.... my face when the fucking coach gave him the ball in the last few seconds...

Nlkko 05-20-2012 10:11 PM

Pop will get his fifth after all.

Huh? Because they beat the Clips? That's your sealing point for you?? Sounds like you are saying, "If the Spurs can beat the Clips, they will win the championship."

.......

G-spec 05-20-2012 11:41 PM

^ no I'm pretty sure he's saying it's probably because the last time the Spurs played like this, they won multiple championships... that's the only thing that's been in my head these last few weeks, I knew Spurs would be tough, but fck they are like a veteran surgeon operating with precision out there last few months

but fck, I really wanted the Clips to pull out one win at home at least....

after Chris's failed first isolation attempt on Danny Green I figured they would have called a high pick and roll the second time around, but NOPE I guess Chris wanted another shot at ISO, and Danny fckin Green shut him down again,I was pretty choked.....

and yea LeBron obviously needs to put in vintage Cleveland Lebron stat lines minimum 40ppg for the Heat to win the championship..... and lovely night out for Wade, tough first half but boy did he pick it up in the second, WOW !

Very possible for us Laker fans to be emo after tomorrow night. :ohgodwhy::okay:

I don't see the Lakers stealing one on the road.

Laker will be done tomorrow.
LA can start cheering for their KINGS
They will win Stanley Cup this year

SA Spurs will win all the way. They are play at another level right now.
I vow for the HEAT, but they aren't as good.
HEAT may not even able to pass Boston in Eastern Final

Nlkko 05-21-2012 12:36 AM

Spurs are playing too well, too confident and there's nobody left with a Randolph-Gasol like tandem to give them fits. The Lakers are done and I'm confident the Heat will beat the Pacers.

The Lakers gave the Thunder fits by pounding the ball inside. They just can't spread the floor and make 3s. Guess what? That's all the Spurs do. They can feed Timmy and they rain down 3 point barrage. The Thunder are easily frustrated and when they are, they become a jump shooting team that's easily defended. If the Spurs can mitigate CP3, I'm sure they can shut down James Harden.

That and I'd rather bet my money on Pop.

TRDood 05-21-2012 12:43 AM

I watched the 4th quarter of the Clips game tonight. Parker's soft touch is pretty killer.

It would be fun to see Tim Ducan and Ibaka block each other's shots.

The Heat will beat out the Pacers, like Boston will kill off Philly.

I still hope the Lakers keep it close tomorrow though. Last year's elimination game against Dallas was painful.

Nlkko 05-21-2012 10:27 AM

Hopeless but I'd like to see one last hurrah for the Gasol era in LA, because he's most likely gone after this. Fuck, maybe if LA can get Stevie to come over and get a decent PF who can pick and pop.
