Let's do a comparison...

Kobe vs. Westbrook = Equal.. Kobe (God mode) > Westbrook (God mode) but Kobe (consistent) < Westbrook (consistent)

MWP vs. KD = KD

Gasol vs. Perkins = Perkins

Bynum vs. Perkins = Perkins

Blake vs. Any OKC = Any OKC.

Sessions vs. Harden = Harden

Lakers bench :fuckthatshit: vs. OKC bench :megusta:

I guess, overall, what I am seeing is... the series is essentially KD (24), RW (23), JD (22) vs. Kobe (33)

411ken 05-15-2012 12:13 PM

^ You are picking Perkins over bynum and gasol? Realllly now lol.

411ken 05-15-2012 12:16 PM

I'm a huge fan as well and last nights game was horrible. The 1st quarter was good as bynum was lighting up perkins but after the first it was all downhill. I'm hoping for a split as we all know how tough the lakers are at home.

IF they get eliminated. 100% one of the Bigs get traded. The era of 2 Big superstar is over. It's now the bsckcourt

dachinesedude 05-15-2012 12:30 PM

even god-like kobe cant go up against the likes of durrant, westbrook and harden

the absolute only way i see the lakers winning the series is if gasol and bynum completely dominate perkins and ibaka on the inside, every period, every game, but i dont see that happening

411ken 05-15-2012 05:10 PM

Ya. At this point they better sit rose out the regular season as they shudnt hav a problem making the playoffs without him. For some reason though, I sense D12 coming to bulls next season

this pretty much sums it all.

If gasol and Bynum had trouble going against Faried, Mozgov, Mcgee, trying going up against Perkins, Ibaka and Collison.

The offensive has to come out other than bryant. And I dont see gasol nor bynum taking control of the paint in next 4/6 meetings.

And I am surprise no one mentioned sessions :p wasnt he suppose to be the lakers saviour? guarding fast PGS like westbrook. He cant even stay infront of westbrook. This is where the concern is, and you dont want bryant to be guarding westbrook all game.

Nlkko 05-15-2012 06:37 PM

I don't see LA go 7 with this, let alone winning. OKC at this point has more talents and enough exp. Don't even count on Mike Brown for coaching miracle. There's a feeling when your head coach is Phil, Pop or Doc, you know your team has a chance, no matter how beaten down it is. LA has no chance.

I'm already tired seeing Brown by the sideline.

Sir_Loin 05-15-2012 06:39 PM

Had Wade's elbow been higher up and hit Collison's head he would've been looking at a long suspension similar to the elbow to Harden.

They need Kobe to coach the way LeBron coached Cleveland....That said, Kobe can't distribute and get his teammates involved the same way LeBron did/does...

G-spec 05-15-2012 10:02 PM

fck that Clips all the way ! :okay:

I've been a CP3 fan since Wake Forest and have had to endure years of being a Hornets fan, I deserve some blind hope dammmit !
I know though, not stupid and Spurs are taking the series but Clips will take one game for sure, possibly two depending on how consistent they stay at home....

All the Clips need to become a higher echelon team is a simple formula, is for Chris to consistently drop 20ppg and 10ast, and for Blake chip in his own 20 n 10, and also DeAndre needs to average at least a 10/10, just those three guys doing those three things consistently every single night and the Clippers would be a behemoth...
Their bench does their job almost every single night, but them 3 are too inconsistent, Chris not so much he balls almost every night, but the games that he doesn't show up for sometimes are the biggest ones and that bothers me a lot

Game 7 vs. Boston if Perkins didn't get injured I don't think Kobe will get his 5th ring. And I cheer for the Lakers every season.

I don't like Perkins too, but Bynum and Gasol have been garbage lately. It's a problem when the Lakers won with Blake in Gm 7.

That's what you'll get come playoffs when Kobe takes 30 shots per game during the regular season......

You don't THINK? Why does that matter? And if Robert Horry didn't play those games for the Lakers, the Lakers wouldn't have won either...Does that make Horry better than Rasheed Wallace? Tim Duncan? Chris Webber?

No, I am not saying overall, Gasol and Bynum is worse than Perkins.

What I am trying to say is, for this series, at point in time, Perkins is limiting the abilities of Gasol and Bynum and therefore they are no good.

Bynum's first 6 minutes of 1st quarter was good last night by drawing 2 fouls in Perkins. Nothing thereafter.

I really hope that the big men step up in Game 2. Their talks after Game 1 looked like they want to try harder.

411ken 05-16-2012 06:59 AM

TRDood- stop while you still can man lol.. I guarantee you that Perkins is the last thing the lakers are worried about

Bynum can take Perkins all day..He's not the problem. It's Gasol on Ibaka, he's gotta play harder... Gasol is one of the best big man to ever play in the nba too so he's gotta show up (10pts and 7 rebounds just aint gonna get it done at this stage of the game)

411ken 05-16-2012 07:07 AM

Also, does anyone know why Lebron or Wade didn't get that last shot to try and tie the game lol... It's the playoffs and they let Chalmers throw it up :fulloffuck: I know it's a "team" game but when I have 2 stars in the game, i'd rather lose with them shooting...

I'm not complaining though.. Go Pacers!! :D

It's because they were tired and cold as shit.

GLOW 05-16-2012 08:21 AM

why is the gasol/bynum vs perkins argument still going on? lol
