what a fuking disaster |
worst 4th quarter.. ever |
Don't know what's the big deal about Gay. Lost Calderon AND Ed Davis for Gay? .... Dude bricks too many shots to worth that much talent. Yeah he was an All-Star. So was Mo Williams. And this is the reason the Lakers will not win anything under this Clowntoni: http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/s...angeles-lakers Like are you fucking kidding me? That's how you manage your star player? Let's go tit-for-tat with him in the media. Repeatedly and publicly throwing him under the Buss. |

ok so let's get a list of dudes who thought D'Antoni would do a good job before they hired him ? don't remember who exactly but I remember a few guys saying D'antoni was the best suited for the Lakers job..... fess up brahs, don't make me go back some pages and out your asses |
Yah the throwback looks sick tonight, love it. My all time favourite center. 2010 he was 47, and still so quick and smooth. |

^He wasn't "coaching" them during the mini win-streak though. I thought they were just free-styling like under Bernie. He admitted himself his system doesn't work and have stop coaching that. And you can't expect players to go to war for him, after the shit he said in the media. Gasol, for example. |

That said, I originally thought D'Antoni was going to be good for them with the thought that they'd also be bringing in Nate McMillan... |
^ no Nikko's right I was about to say the same thing... the players themselves said that these last few games that they weren't even using D'Antoni's system... as much as been said all over the blogs and websites as well for people who couldn't catch the games and see the evidence I admit once I heard his name being considered a possible coach for the Lakers I got excited cuz he would be reunited not just with Nash, but also with Kobe and he's known Kobe since waaay back in Italy when Kobe was like 12 years old..... so I was excited for about a second until I realized he only knows how to coach one way.... and now dont know if you guys seen him say that shit about Gasol today, I know Gasol been being a little bitch lately complaining, but a Coach should never throw any of his players under the bus like that |

Phil ran a team with Kobe and Shaq feuding with each other into a 3-peat. I'd say he's close. |

A couple of GIFs from the pistons game last night.. http://i2.wp.com/i.imgur.com/9af7J4x.gif http://i1.wp.com/i.imgur.com/wae6cLA.gif http://i1.wp.com/i.imgur.com/SHqGEcQ.gif I feel bad for that guy tho :( i bet he was excited to see Prince play live (even getting tunnel seats).. and he was even wearing the Kentucky final 4 shirt underneath. |
I think Memphis got the best deal out of this, they took out Gay and his huge ass contract, and replaced him with a veteran Prince who is hella versatile, a young prospect in Davis, and Daye who is a good bench player. gay never lived up to his potential, and was always playing so-so. I think raptors need to trade fields to get rid of the log jam. |
D'Antoni said some shit "sarcastically" apparently, which I don't buy for a second, there was serious undertones there. Reason being after the Thunder win, Gasol had a good game and on that high note after finally getting play and winning the game, he felt good thinking I guess "Finally D'antoni, see what happens when you play me" so he was the first player to come out and say "We're not running D'Antoni's system anymore" On top of that the constant complaints from Pau last little while about playing time, so the issue really is that Mike doesn't like Pau and ok he has a right, but you can't AS A COACH come out publicly and play this word game in the media against your best big man. If we talk about Phil no he wasn't perfect, but he's as close to it as you can get for a coach that blends the old school and modern best that one can. He was a master of motivation so whenever he said anything publicly about his players, it was always in a motivational manner never blatant bashing disguised as sarcasm like Mike. So Lakers couldn't stop Supa dupa cool Beasssss http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/...toos-photo.jpg |
as a Pistons, it's was a bittersweet trade we dumped Prince's contract and got a serviceable PG for one year however, we dont need PGs in Detroit, Bynum is a fine back up but Knight needs some guidance on his position I wouldn't be opposed to resigning Calderon if the price is right though I feel bad for Gay though, now he's going to rot in Toronto |
^ nah Gay is gonna take up Landry, Ross and Anderson's playing time... which is fckedd cuz them three need to play, we know Landry can ball both ends of the floor, Anderson and Ross are coming out into their own so fast already, Ross a rookie Anderson a vet of the top Spanish leagues.... I don't know I think the Raptors get worse for the immediate future due to reasons I posted earlier about them |

^ then we'll get torched at SG, we're already undersized |

Starting line-up of: Lowry Ross Gay Amir JV Should be able to get something decent in return for DeRozan, and should be able to make another good signing with Fields being amnestied. |
i'm a Pistons fan Raptors are my second team though |
