Cause Kobe wasn't in the game, the final couple minutes flowed much better offensively. There's no selfish ball with Nash(i guess u can say Blake too) able to control the offense, and IIRC, it wasn't just one person who did all the scoring the last three minutes Kobe in the final minutes, go on the attack with 12 or less seconds on the shot clock and then get doubled and kick it out... or go for hero-ball and shoot when hes triple or double teamed. Everybody is more engaged offensively when Kobe isn't on the floor (moreso the final stretches), that's the truth. Kobe need rest. He should only come back when they start losing to .500 teams. He can provide "spiritual support" ;) and be the assistant coach for a while.. like last year |
Defensive rotations are better without Kobe there, tape doesn't lie, Kobe this season has taken it easy on the defensive end and gets beat on back cuts and rotations leaving his "man" usually open for a jump shot/cut to the basket. Kobe taking it easy on the defensive end results in him being able to exert more energy on offense with the exception of the few match-ups where Kobe has to actually defend the pg of the other team where Nash would get killed. (Westbrook/Paul/Parker/Irving etc). |
Wow http://cdn2.mocksession.com/wp-conte...-SHOE-FOUL.gif Edit: I dont know if the ref called the foul on Marc, but it did look like he threw the shoe and knocked the ball away lolz |
Is anyone else annoyed by the new commentator that does the highlights on nba.com ? He sounded like someone who would commentate in wrestling. The things he say is super stupid and the voice or the tone he says it with just made it even worse. |
NBA.com has always been horrible....Move onto ESPN.com/nba... |

Wheel to the baaaaasket xxx for THREEEEE Fuck... is he back? Last weekend was horrible. I either muted sound or stopped watching. Posted via RS Mobile |
You know you're fucked when MWP of all people goes 10/13 w/ 4 assists for 22 points.. Blake/Jamison are playin amazing these days Hope Kobe stays out for as long as possible... so he can heal up and so he can re-evaluate his playing style to mesh with the team, less iso's etc similar back in 2000 when he was out for a string of games.. I remember they only lost like or two for the rest of the season after he returned It was kinda weird seeing all the ball movement too. |

Ellis with 25 in the 4th quarter to carry his team to a victory :D Ended the fantasy league winning 15/20 weeks and being first seeded, hope there's no upsets lol Posted via RS Mobile |
World Peace and Blake is so inconsistent, at least in the making shots department. |
So funny seeing everyone miraculously look 100x better as soon as Kobe is out....I thought the best players in the world make their teammates better, no?? |
^ haha was waiting for someone to make that comment. Kobe is the alpha male on the team, ppl have to learn to play with him more than the other way around. But I think its evident that he's been trying to shift more towards what his teammates do then every before so hopefully they keep playing like a team when he's back. |

Andrew Bynum of Philadelphia 76ers set for season-ending surgery, report says - ESPN Quote:

between those guys, i would take harden/lin or ellis/jennings |
I'll take a healthy Curry and Thompson, but you'll obviously need a lot more than that....I only say that because I can't see Lin or Jennings running a winning offense and controlling the pace of the game....Curry would have to be your 2nd, maybe even 3rd guy....and Klay Thompson nothing more than a good role player on a championship team... |
|
Jeff Green is determined to end the Heat's record tonight!! Too bad it's a blackout on League Pass though :( |
