That play specifically, I think he had to dunk it because he knew smith would have blocked it had he laid it up.

I'm pretty sure his goal all along was to take it up strong and dunk it.. he has made huge dunks these past few games.. he dunked against the twolves too and with pekovic around

he's trying to pump up the team/crowd that's for sure! hope it keeps up
