I don't mind the celts. I hate pierce and rondo though. I was glad to see KG and ray ray get a ring though when they won. They deserve it but yes boston will give cleveland a nice run for their money

Did you see the interview after cleveland knocked out the bulls where Lebron was talking smack about the raptors saying that since chris bosh was out that they played like they didnt want to make it to the playoffs and that he was happy that the bulls made it because they looked like they wanted to win and the bulls would be more competition LMAO

I think you are getting cocky confused with being an asshole. Kobe, Lebron MJ, have all been cocky.
The non-incident Lebron had with the ballboy was not because he is cocky, maybe more so because he's a dick. As for the dancing, he's a young guy in the NBA and more so than ever theres a fusion between sports and celebrity and music, so I think it's more of a culture thing. Wade does it, anyone who can do it, should. When has basketball ever been a gentleman's sport? Showmanship is what they guys do!

gonna have to correct you here, he didn't mean it in the way you're insinuating.. basically everyone is unique and there are different eras in the game of basketball, Michael Jordan couldn't be compared to Wilt Chamberlain or Kareem any more than Lebron or Wade can be compared to Jordan nowadays.
Kobe said the same thing in another interview and so did Lebron when asked about their Jordan comparisons, they both said there won't be another Jordan the same way there won't be another Kobe or Lebron either.
In the NBA the media and fans have pretty much gotten past that whole Jordan comparison thing nowadays, it was unavoidable before due to Jordans greatness but now mostly everyone generally accepts Jordan as the greatest to play the game, and it's very rare to hear about Jordan comparisons nowadays. They leave the comparisons alone nowadays out of respect, for example if you ask who the greatest point guard of all time is most people say Magic Johnson, and a decade from now when Chris Paul finishes his career as the all time Assist and Steals leader, nobody will call him the best PG of all time, simply because that title has already been granted and it can't be taken away. And the title of the greatest player of all time has been given to Jordan.
and the whole deal with the Hall of Fame speech if you know Jordan's personality at all you would know this man was THE ultimate competitor and the game of basketball has not seen his mindset before him or since. He took every little tiny thing personally and used it as fuel when on the court.
Jordan used to fist fight with his own teammates at practices (Steve Kerr, Pippen, etc...) because they weren't workin hard enough, when he was running the Wizards in the early 2000's there wasn't a player on that roster he didn't mentally break down... Kwame Brown was known to cry during practices (he was the fresh 18 year old rookie at the time, lol, imagine your idol growing up bitch slappin you around, I'd cry too)
The one thing I always say to best describe Jordans mentality in regards to the Kobe Jordan comparison, is if you take the Lakers loss a few years back to the Celtics in the finals when they lost by 40 points, if it was the Bulls playing, Jordan would literally start punching mofos out before letting his team get blown out by 40 points in any game, let alone a FINALS GAME!
if you guys play any sports organized or recreational you'd know that you need to have a certain level of confidence when you step on the field court or ice. The trick is to draw the line and make sure you don't go into the cocky zone. Kobe for example was COCKY when he was younger, and that whole ass rape case shut his ass up and he has been super quiet since. Just look at the differences in his interviews when he was young, and the interviews he does now, you can tell he's a changed man. A rape case and global humiliation will bring you down to earth, lol
