It makes little sense to do so considering how far over the salary cap the team is and there is no replacement for World Peace's defense on the roster. On a team with Mike D'Antoni as head coach and as the roster is constructed currently, an overpaid World Peace is a necessity.

The off-season has been a doozy so far!... Iguodala to the Warriors makes them pretty legit, finally someone that can attack the rim AND play defense!
