| Whats so good about craigslist?
never been a big fan of craigslist ever since its inception. sometimes i browse the site if i'm looking for a laugh or two in the personals section.
do people actually buy and sell stuff legitimately there even though half of the stuff is stolen or black marketed goods/fakes.
so tell me why craigslist is still so popular. the site has got one of the most unappealing designs. am i the only one who thinks it sucks?  |

When I moved overseas and needed to get rid of furniture and electronics, Craigslist was the fastest option.
Unless you are buying items at way below market value (and then you should know it's a rip off or stolen goods) CL is a pretty nice marketplace.

but a lot of stolen stuff is sold on there because its free to post

it used to be good a few years back when it wasnt flooded with fucking whole salers and ppl selling fake shit
u could actually post stuff and have it sold.. now it gets pushed back a page because of so much traffic you pretty much need to make a thread a day to keep up... so fucking gay

Craigslist made me 50k last year alone. Total paid to CL? Zero.
Blasted out a bunch of shit in the free section where people actually came and picked up stuff I would have had to pay to dump.

I sold quite a bit of my junk on there.
Just hate it when I post an item for a certain price, example asking $100, the actual item cost like $150+tax, an a$$wipe replies with $20. ~.~

CL sucks now.
It used to be a pretty legit marketplace where you don't have to worry much about getting scammed. Now...I beg to differ.
Of course, I haven't used it for ages, but CL's gotten quite notorious for scammers and fucked up sellers.
