Question: Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R

Do any of you guys know when the Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R becomes legal here?

.Renn.Sport 02-19-2009 01:52 AM

^ If you know it, why don't you tell him.......

Anyway, the earliest will be 2010 I believe as the release of the BCNR33 was in 95.

I can't confirm the date/month, but I'm confident it was around January-February. :)

haha....

Timpo 02-20-2009 12:01 PM

why 1995?

I thought the R33 was available back in 1993 or 1994.

Timpo 02-20-2009 12:05 PM

ok I just did a quick search,

R33 Skyline:
1993 August-1999 January

Timpo 02-20-2009 12:06 PM

unless you guys are talking about the R33 GT-R, the R33 GTS was available in 1993 but the GT-R was not available until 1995 January.
So they were selling R33 GTS and R32 GT-R at the same time.

hk20000 02-20-2009 12:45 PM

^ yes the OP needs to learn to do maths and Timpo needs to learn to read English.

OP + Timpo = divide by zero.

why do people even buy skylines.. there unreliable and dangerous to drive LHD on the road.. stupid idea.. not to mention owning an old used turbo car, and parts are expensive

coming from a guy who drives a torqueless wonder. There are plenty of places in the world other than vancouver that allow vehicles on the road that are both rhd and lhd for decades. Europe and Japan come to mind. Besides, my old used car can rape your dc5 for a fraction of the cost, and its completely reliable.

^ Life's not always about who has the fastest (beatup) car.

and life isn't always about a new honda. people have different tastes, new, used, old, lhd, rhd. u can't generalize some bad examples to all. besides i highly doubt he's driven any of the vehicles the op has commented on. roll them eyes somewhere else
