just a note, 300gb Velociraptor go for a little over 300 after taxes ($1:1GB) so you might want to lower it a bit.

Actually velociraptors are $320ish +taxes for 300gb and $250 for 150gb velociraptor...So I don't think the price is unreasonable.

the samsung f1 and wd black drives are close to the original raptors now in performance, and much quieter and cheaper per gb. the velociraptors are far quieter and far faster than the original raptors which makes them worth the premium.

I never said the my drive was better or equivalent to a velociraptor. It's actually around $100 cheaper than the 150gb.
