exactly as well in alot of eastern european culutres they use potatoes in mostly every dish soups pastas. Very easy to grow cheap and lots of different uses.

Just think of all the moonshine thats made in the south with potatoes

So what chemicals does China put in their veggies or soil so they grow so much?
The veggies here don't come from China right?

Probably the same chemicals that are used here.

Some fruits and vegetables that you buy here are grown over there. Those tiny little mandarins are from China, as is a lot of garlic and ginger. I've also seen snow peas marked as "produce of China".
