how do you know when to get new brake pads?

hello,

i've never replaced the stock pads..and i have had them on for 45000km.

is it time to change them and get new pads for all the corners?

thanks

Car manual will state the minimum of brake pad before you need to replace. So you either need to inspect them yourself or bring to a shop.

Most brake pads also have metal clips that will cause your brakes to squeak when they get too low.
