Guys Thanks for all you guys to have a look out.
My friend don't really remember losing the key but looked like someone took the key and left with the car.
He didn't tell me exactly how he lost his car and didn't tell me where was it last parked...
he is just too busy riding around town to look for it in any park way LOL....
Anyways... He want's it back and doesn't want another car.
already reported to ICBC and Police and like how Physixx said, they don't give good advice as of how the gps tracking device can help him...

cococly 02-24-2009 08:21 PM

that IS-F is still there, i just talked to the owner.

You usually don't call the dealership, you deal with the call center.

Lexus outsources their system to OnStar. But it is called LexusLink. Works just like OnStar.

Of course, if the car is in a container etc or the main fuse (right at the battery post for airbag) jumped it won't work...

It actually belongs to a close buddy of mine.
As far as my knowledge goes, he phoned into Regency Lexus and got no info on how to track down his car via GPS. Instead, they gave him a 1-800.
Then he phoned the po-po and got the same results.

BabyblooLexus 02-24-2009 09:30 PM

Meowjin 02-24-2009 10:35 PM

did your friend happen to lose his job?

k20a 02-24-2009 10:36 PM

Did your friend stand not too far from the car, and had the doors unlock so the theif can use the autostart? LOL (Too much top gear)

TRDood 02-24-2009 11:05 PM

what the hell? your friend lost his keys to the car and someone drove it away?

even if he finds it on the streets, how they hell is he going to take it back!?

Harvey Specter 02-24-2009 11:09 PM

I'm going to come out and say it.....this whole story about losing the keys and someone driving off with a $65,000+ car is starting to sound real shady.

Tell your friend never to have kids in case he leaves it somewhere

better to say it was stolen, sell the wheels, and store it in someones garage than to pay off a loan you could not afford and ruin 7 years of credit.

Drift_Monkey 02-25-2009 11:08 AM

he could've dropped the keys near the vehicle and the theif took the keys and drove off.

can be as easy as that.

J____ 02-25-2009 01:30 PM

wow sketchyyyyyy

A-Dev 02-25-2009 02:14 PM

SoulCrusher 02-25-2009 02:20 PM

XxsoloxX 02-25-2009 02:32 PM
