trancehead 02-25-2009 05:47 PM

symantec anti virus corporate edition. same thing as norton basically but without all the bullshit...and supposedly it takes less computer resources to run

kc1337 02-25-2009 05:56 PM

NOD32

go to www.nod321.com and use the username and password provided to download the legit version from their website

Bouncing Bettys 02-25-2009 06:04 PM

Soundy 02-25-2009 06:09 PM

Second vote for Avast... free and works great.

Norton anything sucks ass.

nevermorez 02-25-2009 06:19 PM

My vote goes to Kaspersky Internet Security. It's usually on sale for $9.99 (from $69.99) at Future Shop on Boxing Day. Picked it up the second time already.

Lychee 02-25-2009 06:22 PM

Both Kaspersky and nod32 have worked great for me. So +1 for both.

JHuJHu 02-25-2009 06:58 PM

ESET!

NimbeeTT 02-25-2009 06:59 PM

If you have Shaw as your internet provider you can download Shaw Secure from them for free =/
I've been using it for over a year now and it works great. AND it's free :]

Symantec anti virus is ok too. I used to use that before shaw but sometimes i'd run into some problems with the virus definition updates =s maybe it was just mine. but yeah.

boss604 02-25-2009 07:03 PM

avast

Culture_Vulture 02-25-2009 07:08 PM

anti-viruses are overrated.

nod32 is my pick though.

used avast for the past few years. no complaints yet except for that annoying "VIRUS DATABASE UPDATED" voice message haha. but you can turn that off.
