My welded diff isn't working properly!

Alright, after reading a ton of threads on welding up gears for extra traction, i went ahead and welded mine up.

I put the third back in and went to pull out of my garage, and I just roasted my clutch. I figured that maybe there was some slag left in the bearing, so i dropped it in 4lo and lo and behold something broke loose.
MY FUCKING DRIVE LINE.

I'm really pissed at all this BS talk. I welded my junk really wel. And now my driveline is twisted up like a damn pretzel.

You are all a bunch of shit talkin Jerks.

What the hell did you all do differently?

Yoo dawg i'm saving up for Direct Exhaust Injection with audi style port n polish, and welded diff to put that power to the ground

1990TSI 02-26-2009 11:21 AM

funny, but I think the OP just has a good imagination. I bet he toasted a rear end or upgraded to something stronger, and went ahead with what we see on his old one for fun.

epic win either way.

Leopold Stotch 02-26-2009 08:12 PM

wow reading some of the stuff on the forum i'm amazed at how ignorant these people are.

EuroTRASH 02-26-2009 08:47 PM

03aspec 02-26-2009 10:07 PM

Don't forget that you need to dyno the car to see how much power the little Miata makes. So you go to the local dyno, put the front wheels on the dyno wheel, and strap down the rear wheels for safety measures.

Dont forget to flush out the old oil and debris in your engine with water first. And always fill your gas tank with diesel. That should fix your diff problem.

Qasual 02-27-2009 12:06 AM

Lol, wow wtf.
