Lol @ the stock CSX wheels on the black one.

oinkoinkpig 02-28-2009 12:59 PM

The red badge itself adds 100+ HP
and it's definitely lighter

3seriesBeeM 02-28-2009 01:05 PM

that shifter in the 240 looks like a samurai sword but the car itself is nice all of them actually

orange7 02-28-2009 03:04 PM

what's the difference between type-r and type-s?

k20a 02-28-2009 06:55 PM

What's wrong with stock rims? What rims do you have?

Nothing wrong with it - I have stock rims on mine right now too. It's just that he's got Mugen bumpers and stuff... but still stock wheels.

I want to put on either OZ Allegeritas or Wedsports, but gotta put together the money first. :haha:

K20Z3 vs K20A... different VTEC engagement windows and tuning (due to emissions, I think?). I think the A makes more power overall (200 vs 220 hp or something like that).

real JDM type-R doesn't have that ugly silver trim around the headlights.
god damn, the csx is ugly.

marc0lishuz 03-01-2009 12:02 AM

Looks like a base CSX with a Type-R bumper with custom aluminum inserts (or just painted silver).

Mugen EvOlutioN 03-01-2009 09:32 AM

a2 200hp

k20 220hp

z1 210hp

I'd like to see Revolution try to match the chassis tuning of the Type R as well. now that would be mega-sick.

as for the differences in CTR motor, don't all "Type R" engines receive a full Type R treatment? polished out and hand built head etc. it's not just the power that is different, but from what I understand all Type R motors are much better flowing and responsive than its next equivalent engine from Honda.

Mugen EvOlutioN 03-01-2009 10:27 AM

z1 has Type R's throttle body and cams and same tranny with the same final gear

so basically the same , or cloest to the JDM spec

basically engine is pretty much same shit

just tat Type R gets Brembo, LSD etc etc and other small stuff. obviously chassis is different

J-Wangsta 03-01-2009 01:14 PM

i like the 240's interior... soo ninja like.... use that car only for assination jobs

oh.. and the csx is nice.. the GT wing aint too bad
