best laptop for wireless use?

Dono if this is even a valid question.. but i've been using my samsung R20 (from UK) for almost 2 years now, and i've been wanting to upgrade. The laptop's butons are faded, some of the buttons dont respond as well as before, + the cpu fan is just too loud, I know those are all easy fixes, but the main problem is.. This wireless internet sucks! Where ever i go, school, library, cafe or even my own home, the wireless connection keeps turning off! My friends LG and imac doesnt have this issue, only mine does??

Im going to be going back to HK this summer, so I'm mostly going to get a new laptop. My budget will be roughly $7000 HK, around $1050CDN ... which laptop do you think will be best in terms of wireless connection...are there any laptops now with intergrated 802.11N chip? or still only G connection? 80% of the time i use for documents/web browsing, but sometimes i do use photoshop.

Go for the Asus EEE 1000HE, 9.5 hr (quoted, probably 7-8 in real life) battery life with Wifi-N. Photoshop can probably run slowly, but if you have another computer you can wait until you get to that one to run Photoshop, right?

I'm with roastpuff here. Get a decent netbook and pocket the rest of the cash or spend it on something else like a new phone.

Doesn't seem like you'll be using the computer for anything super intensive so a netbook should do just fine. The new GN chipset (or Ion chipset) should be coming out soon which supposedly has better hardware video decoding. Not sure if it will be out by the time your reach HK, but something to consider if you're not in a hurry to buy.
