I've been to surry like 2x in my life. 1st time I was driving a friend back at night so I couldnt really see anything. The second time I went somewhere quit deep into Surrey and apart from having HUGE lots, everything looks similar to Van

People drive up King George off the Putullo and think that's what every part of Surrey looks like or something. If I only drove through East Van I would think that Vancouver is a shithole as well.

Which is the reason why when most white people get old their kids ship them off to some old homes and don't give a fuck about them. While most asian parents will have their kids take care of them when they get old.

WOW you really don't have a clue do you? Yes most white kids don;t have there parents move in when they get old. But they go to old folks homes where they have a trained staff being around if there are any health issues. So they are around friends their own age to tell storys about and chill.

But what do I know, my grandmother is 88 yrs old grandfather passed away 2 yrs ago and she lives on her own in her own house with her dog and she loves it.

There is a huge difference from putting them in a home which they enjoy then putting them in a old folks prison which they only see there parents twice a year.

Chinese general view old folk home very negatively hence few would voluntarily go there.

And not its not becuz chinese like to spoil their kids. Spoiled kids can just as easily grow up, swallow all your money and kick you to the old folks home chinese or not.

I just don't like the way he described it as "shipping them off" to some old folks home where they are going to rot and never be visited till they need to be taken away in a bodybag, which is bullshit. Obviously there are exceptions, some people don't give a shit for their parents, but it's not a "white person thing" when someone's parents aren't cared for.

if he is chinese i understand how he might have got that notion. I grew up hearing about how "barbaric" white ppl are. If anything chinese are the most racist people i know.

I've lived in East Van long enough and there's just as many slums there than here in Surrey.
