Lived in richmond my whole life, never have I been scared. Crime happens everywhere, drug labs are found all the time in richmond..but in comparison, even if there are gangsters in richmond, as far as I'm concerned, they're out of the lime light enough to not cause fear when I'm out.

Synthetic drug lab found in Richmond
One man in custody
Connie Thiessen RICHMOND (NEWS1130) | Friday, March 6th, 2009 10:54 am

RICHMOND (NEWS1130) - Richmond RCMP have evacuated several units in a Bennett Road townhouse following the discovery of a synthetic drug lab.

Bennett Road is closed between Garden City and St. Albans Road while police dismantle the operation.

Corporal Nycki Basra says the road will be closed for most of the day.

"At this point, we can't say the size or the extent of this drug lab. However, one male has been arrested and is in custody."

Richmond Mounties are also dealing with a grow-op fire in a home near Blundell and No. 5 Road.

The blaze broke out around 7 a.m., but few details are available.
heh i live like right beside that complex. went home that night and saw cops blocking the driveways and firetrucks everywhere. next day road was closed as they were hauling stuff out of the house.

a couple of incidents doesn't make richmond 'unsafe' ...geez...surrey on the other hand...

Richmond was never safe. C-lai+expensive fast car? and as mentioned by others, #3 road by aberdeen are the worst roads I've ever been on. Can't even count how many times I've almost been hit.
