It changes the extension to JPG, but the result is still an animated GIF...

so I can't upload it there..
how the hell can a jpg file play animation???

Well, it may have a JPG extension, but it's still a GIF... and when the program or browser loading it reads it, it knows it's a GIF based on the file contents...
