So how do they distinguish between L / N / Full drivers licenses now? It used to be so easy to spot the L licenses. It was like a embarassment to have the Red or Green bar. Fun times.

You surrender your old license when you renew it. That's how it's been since before the enhanced licenses were offered.
Teriyaki, it says what driving class you are on your license, on both the old and new enhanced licenses.

red is L green for N and blue for class 5 now I believe
