I don't think you misread.

Or at least I read it the same way you did. I have no idea what the actual replacement blades cost.

Fafine 06-18-2010 06:58 PM

HCR32 06-18-2010 07:29 PM

Got my Proglide..I didn't know it was one of the fancy ones...thought it would just be a manual non vibrating one...nice surprise

Well, I guess you could probably get a better price on them, but in the latest Shopper's Drug Mart flyer, the starter kit like the one we got for free is $14.99 and replacement blades are $19.99

DC5-S 06-20-2010 04:59 PM

costco has it for $20 with 6 shavers.. but its not the battery powered model.. so its nice I got this freebie ill just throw out the other shaver and use the battery one :)

murd0c 06-20-2010 05:00 PM

yeah it seems to cut effortlessly.. but this is my first time using a battery powered one, so maybe the fusion battery was simliar?

i just got my proglide today and tried it out, it's a lot better than the fusion battery powered one (i was using it before today)

cuts a lot more effortlessly and just glides along

I got my proglide yesterday and I gotta admit, it looks so awesome and futuristic..

By the way, did anyone get their P&G Sampler thing yet? I signed up for it a long long time ago and still haven't got it yet.

urrh 06-23-2010 03:24 PM

i got my sampler... last week?
same day as my proglide. not really fond of the buzzing though... what's that supposed to do?

i don't like the buzzing too, it's annoying

InvisibleSoul 06-23-2010 11:22 PM

It's supposed to give you a closer shave... whether it does or not, I don't know.

Just got another Fusion MVP in a Brandsampler package today... I think I'll be set with razors for the next ten years.

simsimi1004 06-25-2010 01:47 PM

^^i think its more of a less irritation thing, so their's less tugging and pulling between hair and blades. After receviing the proglide, irritation after shaving reduced to near none. i used to use Fusion too so its not like a upgrade from a shitty shaver. The buzzing in my case helps a fucking lot. i love it.

Got my P&G
It came with Magic Eraser, old spice deodertant, gilette fusion mvp, Crest glide floss, Crest whitening strips, old spice body wash.

i wouldve liked a patene shampoo and downy softer.. anyone get these?

hal0g0dv2 06-25-2010 01:54 PM

still waiting for mine god damm

I got my package couple days ago. I got the same thing except I didn't get the floss but did get softner instead. Also, my deodorant was "fuji" but I didn't like the smell at all.

They say it gives a closer shave, but that's BS

BTW if you don't have a buzzing razor, you can just do this

I must be the only one here that uses the ancient 3 blade razor. I prefer my mach 3 over the 4-5-8 blade razor that they have now. I find the fusion to be too bulky.

Not really free, but London Drugs is giving out Schick 5 blade razor in exchange for your old one. ONE exception being that it can not be a disposable and the razor has to be removable. I traded in my gilette gamer razor or whatever the heck it is.

Never been a Schick fan but not the worst razor I've tried.

I agreed with you until I tired the Proglide. Wow, what a difference. I'm glad I'm out of Mach 3 razors, will not be going back

I have very tough hair, and shave my entire head too. Thus I need a blade that's fairly cheap, or stays sharp longer. So far I am very impressed with the Proglide. I've gotten more shaves out of it than I would from a Mach 3, so this justifies the price increase.

I always rolled my eyes at the vibrating razors, and didn't have much hope for the Proglide either. Tried the Proglide with and without vibrating, and again, Wow, what a difference. My tough hair usually causes blades to stick a bit and thus irritate my face, yet the vibrating action allowed the blade to glide smoothly.

I got my PG pack, the PG men's pack, and the Proglide challenge all with a week. Tons of free shit!

Got my pack as well, only difference is the blade in the package isn't the battery powered one which I got a few weeks ago.
