In your opinion, what's the difference between a player and a cheater?

A player doesn't have a steady girlfriend/wife and just plays the field.

A cheater has a steady girlfriend/wife and still plays the field.

Which is also one of the definitions of a player.

What's the point of all these threads? Both words are simple and straightforward. Are you that socially deficient that you did not learn all these things in HS and that you require a whole discussion to encompass it's meaning?

My definition, I see at as:

Players are those who play the "game" to achieve an goal or objective. Everyone is a player in one way or another. Some just really suck at playing their game, whatever it is.

Cheaters are players but they are the players who achieve the goal or objective by breaking the rules of the game.

the way i see is that

player = playing the field more for the game of it than anything else

cheater = playing the field to find satisfaction that they're not getting from their SO

A player is someone who doesn't make threads like this. No lies.

A cheater is some douchebag who lies like a bitch to try and juggle girls, and doesn't have much intelligence or wit to accomplish anything.

Player = someone who lies to get the women but can't maintain a relationship for very long
Cheater = someone in a committed relationship who has sex outside that relationship
Bad Boy = Goes through many women but doesn't have to lie to get the girl and doesn't give a fuck what she thinks of him.
