Skimming through the vids, my understanding of "Gon Lui" is that it describes women who carry a diva-like personality.... demanding, brand-whoring, even bitchy. Ummm... Do not want.

This is true for females in general I think, but more fitting for 'Kong Gals'. HK is a city where people are born into this. Social status and face, utmost importance in HK culture I believe.

Isn't this a everlasting social debate? Certainly these traits aren't exclusively in Gong Lui. Most women have at least one of these traits.
