| What should I do ?? More than 5 computers to share Media files in a network ??
I have more than 5 computers, XBOX 360, and PS3, all of them need to share Media files to each of them.
Should I go for "Router" or Network Switch" ?
Anyone have good suggestion ?

^LOL Window has DHCP and can assign IP addresses within a network.
Either a switch or router will work to do what you asked. I suspect you want a router because I think you want to share an internet connection, which you failed to mention.

Get a router (or 2) with switching capabilities.
Get a NAS.
Issue resolved.

Both. Regular 10/100 router plus gigabit switch.
Connect Internet modem to router.
Connect router to switch.
Connect all computers, Xbox, and PS3 to switch.
This way you have DHCP and Internet access for all clients, plus gigabit connectivity between all the clients.
