unless the card is AGP, it will be very difficult to sell. I've seen used 8600GT go for $30-40, 8500GT for less than 25.

True, but you don't see these kind of bargains occur on a frequent basis. Most likely once in a blue moon and even still these are the deals that are snatched up right away. Seeing is one thing but executing is a whole different story.
