Whenever someone passes like this, ignore the bad decisions. We all make them, sadly a few don't survive to learn from the mistake. What's done is done and mocking that will only prolong the pain for his loved ones. Forget his faults and think of the positive Mask did in his life, which was plenty.
I met him once and not for long but he seemed like a good guy. The makeup was weird, the personality on camera was overdone, but he stuck in your head, huh?
He was a son, a friend to many, and supported and expanded this sport more than any of us have. Early on I swore off tapout, thinking it just caused douchebags to fake being fighters. Then I thought about it. I've been seeing guys in tapout shirts and fliering them for my gym for almost three years now, many of them signing up and ending up being great friends. And this guy as well as the tapout show got exposure and sponsorships to many overlooked up and comers. RIP Mask, the sport lost a good one.
