help: dvd drive not detected

I assume this happened after updates were installed two days ago for Vista 64bit

When I go to My Computer, my DVD-drive is undetected.
I go to Device Manager, and it shows a yellow exclamation beside it. I scanned for hardware changes and properties and I get this

I went into BIOS, and it detected the drive though.
This is a Lite-On LH-20A1S SATA drive.
I mean, I can eject the drive and insert a disc, but it won't read anything.

I also Uninstalled the drivers from Device Manager hoping Windows will install the drivers for me, but then it Failed.

I updated it last month.

I tried to do it again, but then the Firmware updater won't allow me as no drive can be detected to update anything.
