was looking thru the kits that rocketz.net sells.

seems like they're all on sale for $195 hahaha

turner492 04-21-2009 07:09 AM

yah mostly fiberglass.. they have a few polyutherane lip kits but nothing worth buying.
nothing i liked anyways.

RenoMan 04-21-2009 04:13 PM

so what the verdict? its it fucked?

turner492 04-21-2009 09:43 PM

yah i measured and it was off by 1.5cm..
buuuut i had the body work guy sand the one side down.
and it should look the same.. ill see tomorow
looking at it in person.. couldnt actually tell until you look really really closely.

RenoMan 04-22-2009 09:51 AM

i measure and level things for a living so i can see shit like that.... told you it about an inch. anyways good luck on the kit man. Post some pics

turner492 04-22-2009 11:26 AM

haha yah makes sense, i never even saw that at all.
well thanks dude.
ill get the pics posted as soon as i pick up the car
(hopefully tonight/tomorow for sure)

turner492 04-24-2009 12:52 PM

will see after the detail cuz i see a color difference between the kit and car and you gotta do somthing about that wheel gap

DavidNguyen 04-24-2009 05:03 PM

car looks good. yea u need to lower it.
is it a base RSX?

turner492 04-24-2009 11:47 PM

yah i know i do, its the next thing on the list, im only dropping it an inch though..
nothing major just enough to cover that tiny gap. but yah my passanger door is
all banged up from when i bought it from previous owner so im going to get the whole
car painted during the summer sometime anyways. and yes its a 2002 base.

LiquidTurbo 04-25-2009 12:21 AM

how much did everything set you back?

turner492 04-25-2009 11:19 AM

came to like $600 for the kit itself
$700 for painting
$1300 for install (nothing was predrilled on the kit etc)
so not bad at all considering all the other places i went to
where going to charge $1000+ for paint itself.

lip kits are the best
