SG has spoken fair enough. Carry on with the bashing.

MORE PICS FROM AUTOSHOW

people can open a shop and do whatever business they please. clearly, someone is buying from them or the owners have enough money to burn to stay in business.

hey, i did that when i worked at advance. mainly cuz i liked working on cars and liked documenting my attempts at working on them!

nothing wrong with taking pictures of ur work and final outcome!

i just dont get where all this hate is coming from... u complain when there is nothing posted and RS becomes "boring". you complain when a shop posts up pictures of some some products they carry, work they have done which does include slapping on a set of rims. it aint that easy. anyone can slap a set of rims on a car, but to calculate size of the rim, width of the rim, offset that looks best, then a tire to work with that size of rims... it aint easy, its an art. it took me some time to figure out to go with 20s on my car. then the width, then the offset. then the rolled fenders. then the spacers to make them look even better. then realizing now, i could have gone even wider to begin with! dont u think i want a 5in lip!!! now i know i can, now i know i can run a 20x11 +40 ish offset...

the autoshow was ok, not as many cars but u know what, left more room to actually circle around the car and look at it! didnt feel too cramped!

the big surprise was the nissan kube. i love that car and yes i may look gay driving one!

i was disappointed in not seeing any a6/s6/whatever6 avants. thats what i really wanted to see but north american market dont like station wagons.

SL63 is sex.

spyker or whatever u call them is fucking AWESOME!

SR's black theme was noice! and cyrus looked tired... so for u guys that are going there, go give him a hug, and tell him its from shoei, cuz he looks like he needed one. =)

and you sir, has bought into the rebadging, renaming twist to the plot.

they change a few things, make it look fancier, give it a new category. but at the end of the day, u look at what it is, its just a tall station wagon. it sits up a few inches higher than ur avg sedan, its interior is a tad taller, but i wouldnt say much taller than ur average sedan. but its not as tall as a minivan, and the clearance isnt as much as a suv.

to me, its a stationwagon.

i dunt know i think you shouldn't have your final verdict until you have driven it. isn't the whole stationwagon thing is so you can have a car that handle like a sedan yet still have enough space to haul a few tvs around?

unless you have already driven it and it indeeds handle like a stationwagon should, than I will shut my mouth right now.

scheduling the appointment later on when i have more free time to do so.

but sitting in it, sure feels like one. last time i checked, goign to the autoshow meant not being able to drive the vehicle.

its a toyota, it wont disappoint, unless my expectations are set that it should drive and handle like a supra, then my judgement is fucked from the beginning.

A) That's the very definition of overindulgent.

B) It's 35 years old, and has no rust.

C) It's one of the seven vehicles I own.

D) I drive a brand new car every week.

Then, bitch 30 years later about how you found a sweet Lamborghini in someone's garage, and you want to restore it, but some douchefag swapped out the original leather for some Gucci logo fabric and ostrich hide, the original wheels were replaced by some garish two-tone "rims," and the whole car would have to be shipped back to Italy to get the original paint reapplied.

Seriously.

Do you think any of their shit will look good in 5 years? Fuck, 3 years even? Just another shop full of two-bit hacks all too willing to accept the business of the overindulgent, unappreciative, trust fund and criminal classes.

Dude you got some serious hate locked up in you, gotta work on you anger management. Are you just jealous of ppl who have more money, and can afford exotic cars? Seems like you're just hating on all them. If they got the money, and they want to trick out their cars, LET THEM.

Why are you bashing SR so much? What did they ever do to you??

Personally I think SR Auto Group is an awesome company. The cars they work on are really nice, and yes most of them are exspensive. They take beautiful cars to begin with, add a few personalized details, and presto, ART.

I want to ask you one thing. Have you ever been to SR, met anyone that works there? I went to their booth at the autoshow yesterday, and met the manager personally. He was really kind and friendly, and was willing to spend time explaining all the modification they've done to the cars on display. I only drive a modest Civic, I'm no high roller. But I appreciate the finer things in life, and that LP640 roadster they had on display was beautiful.

At the end of the day, everything said and done. SR Auto Group does great work. And I'm sure they work very hard to build up their reputable name, so owners of such exotic cars will go to their shop to get work done on their cars. So dude, lighten up and give them a break...

HAHA...and the matte black LP640 is SOOOO nice, I still can't get over it. Probably the most expensive car there right, around 500,000??? Haha wish i could take that car out for a spin in my batman costume!!!
