That store was awful. The few times I was in there, it was super expencive or they didnt have basic things a hardware/tool place should have had. I forget exactly what it was, but I think they were out of 8x1" wood screws.. wtf

I'll go have a look on Tuesday, but in general I've always seen their house brand stuff as being pretty crappy. They had good prices on name brand, but their Power Fist or whatever it is couldn't compete at all with Crappy Tire.

I got a 120° CP die grinder to add to my collection, it'll keep me porting until my replacement CP extended straight die grinder arrives. Some fucker yanked all of the 1/4" shank burrs on Thursday, so I couldn't stock up!

They're not leaving until the end of May was what they told me. I got a sweet Makita 7" rotary sander/polisher so I can do some serious paint buffing.

went there today, got some cheap impact sockets.
talked to one of the employees, apparantly there is a new tool store coming in after house of tools is gone, and they are hiring back most of the current employees. They said is was a canadian store, so I'm thinking it could be Busybee Tools or Princess Auto maybe?

Powerfist makes good grind or cut 'em up tools
and the variety of other stuff they have is stupidly useful... I got all the stuff needed to fix up my car trailer for under $100... well other than a new wood deck.
