replacing HU in 2003 escape (dash kit and harness)

I'm looking to replace the stock head unit in my 2003 Ford Escape Limited w/6CD INDASH Headunit (which i believe is called MACH). I basically want to have an AUX in for a ipod.

1)Whats a good low priced HU with AUX I thinking about the Pioneer DEH-2000MP (older model), or the DEH-1100MP.

2)Since the stock HU is double din, for dash kit it seems like Metra part #99-5802 is the best option (any other suggestions?) where can I pick this up locally?

3)I can't seem to find a harness that will work, I need one that will allow me to use the stock amp/sub. Will this one from Crutchfield work? (any alternatives from Metra or Sosche that I can pickup locally?)
edit: this is what my stock headunit looks like incase you need to know which one I have I know mines seems to be the older style connector but some late 03s have the 04 harness./

Pioneers 09 Model DEH-2100IB offers a direct Ipod cable which will charge and access all your songs on your ipod including playlists. Which we just got in stock.

Double Din Dash Kit is no problem.
And harness I can order if I don't have in stock already.

How much does the dash kit and harness cost?
The DEH-2100IB is a little overkill for me, dont need really need the ipod charging/integration, also not partial to pioneer maybe a JVC or Kenwood lowerend unit with aux. Want to spend $150-200 max for everything, I'll be installing myself.

You could probably get all that for $200 plus tax including all parts

Harness
Metra Part #70-5661 or 70-5516 <---most likely your vehicle is an early production of 03 or a late 02 Model

Dash Kit
Metra Part# -99-5802

IMO Pioneer will be more reliable and more user-friendly than both JVC and Kenwood. PLus the 2100 is a great deck at a great price!
