Free/cheap eye exams Locations?

Im looking for a free or cheap place to get an eye exam. So far Ive found walmart for $65. I lost my job and don't have much money. Life is tough these days...

unfortunately, I don't think anyone will be doing free eye exams.

Not sure if you tell them you are jobless will help either.

Who do you normally go to for eye exams? MAybe talk to them about options.

*If you buy a pair of Eyeglasses from them.

Yah.. i've seen some advertsements like that as well

I think almost all eye exams are around 60ish bucks.. the cheapest place i found before was inside T&T plaza in richmond... its a little store..

get a referral from your family doctor and it should be free as long as you have bc medical

I got my eye exam for free when I bought my glasses from this shop on Robson + Thurlow.

Eye exams are no longer covered under MSP unless you're over the age of 65 or under the age of 18. It's been like that for a while now.

Most eyeglass stores will do a test to check your vision for free, but you'll need to see an optometrist to do a full eye exam for the health of your eye.

If you complain to you doctor about seeing many "floaters", then you will get sent to an ophthalmologist. Those people will do THOROUGH examinations.
