Can anyone recommend some decent strings for a beginner cellist? The cello is a Hoffner.
The cello has been in storage for the past 5 years and has never been played. I have an electric tuner, but do you think it's better to get a professional to tune it, in case the bridge needs adjustment or I break a string?
I have my brothers old cello that he used, probably about 10 years ago. My wife wants to get it re-stringed and tuned.. and we'll probably just do it all at L&M.
Does anyone have advice on which strings to get, and what the price differences will be?
