^ nope, don't bother. if she's really interested, she'll get back to you. if not, chances are she lost interest. if you keep texting/calling, you'll just get on her nerves.

Oh, you forget one: sometimes your phone provider (or hers) fucks up and the message never arrives. True story.

Don't think that happens. I'd love to see your reasoning behind this statement.

Grandmaster TSE 03-17-2009 01:02 AM

texting sucks
just fucking call her

Umm, because it happens? I've had messages never go out from my phone; I've had them never arrive from others; I've had them take anywhere from 3 seconds to 3 hours to be delivered (sending or receiving); I've had one message arrive multiple times; and I've had my phone tell me a message couldn't be sent and ask if I want to re-send it, when it has actually gone out.

And you can't tell me it's never happened to you, because you just don't know. You have no way of knowing that someone might have sent you a text that you never received.

hotjoint 03-17-2009 06:56 AM

stop being a pussy and call her, people are so fuckin lazy these days and would rather text.

Inaii 03-17-2009 06:57 AM

Happens to my friend who has a blackberry all the time. I'll text her and she never gets the message.

And Soundy I was agreeing with you =p

using bbm? its happened to me tonnes of times

Orion 03-17-2009 08:44 AM

depends if she's delayed ALL the time or sometimes...

but if they were really interested they would play it safe by having a mixture of quick responses and delayed responses... flirt

HappyDorky 03-17-2009 01:13 PM

maybe she's just busy / didnt feel or hear the incoming msg, / texts way too slow.

sexyflanders 03-17-2009 09:35 PM

maybe she read it but didn't have time to reply...then forgot about it

B-DiZzLe 03-17-2009 09:42 PM

when i first read the topic i thought i said "girl not MASSAGING back", i was like yah my gf wont massage my back either, how do i get her to massage my back ??

anyways back on topic, if you really wanna find out if she's interested, called her. Sometimes if i'm busy and see a text on my cell I don't/can't reply and forget that the person texted me. If you're interested in her, show some initiative and call her.

XtC_13aBy 03-17-2009 10:04 PM

Either she's not that into you, or she is actually busy. Being a girl myself, I know it can happen both ways. If I'm not really doing anything and I like the guy that is texting me and he's not the type to play mind games, I'd reply asap after each text. However, sometimes I am occupied with something and I'd want to actually put thought into what I write in the text, I'd leave it for later. Sometimes, I do admit to forgetting to reply to texts or I'm sleeping. Then there are times when the text doesn't even get through to the other person (It happens between my friends/boyfriend and I). So, you can consider all these reasons the next time a girl takes a while to respond.

I do that all the time, with texts, emails, missed calls and voicemails - I know there's a message there, sometimes I ignore it initially, sometimes I read/listen to it right off, and intend to respond later when I have the chance, but then completely forget about it as it gets lost in other inbox traffic.

You're just bitter because I didn't call you the next morning. Really, you weren't that good. Maybe if I had free minutes, I might have called to tell you you could buy me breakfast, but it wasn't even worth the airtime for free food.

HonestTea 03-18-2009 12:42 AM

Sometimes I'm busy, ignore it and accidentally forget to reply but usually I just reply when I get the text message..

I've also had a few text messages get "lost" or so they say...girls aren't trustable ;) hahaha and also had some people text me but I never received them.. *shrugs*

"free food"

Soundy 03-18-2009 10:57 AM

It's not a question of being able to afford it, it's a matter of whether it's worth the expense.

Durrann1984 03-18-2009 11:33 AM

well u keep mentioning about free stuff i thought you should've been in the "official Free Thread"

Don't take advice from Soundy, he doesn't know he's too old :p

Men and women respond to msgs differently. Most guys will respond when they can whereas girls will overthink it and she'll play games. God I hate women, it's the reason why I can never see myself with one. They're only good to kiss and fondle.
