Oh, this is for sure true. It does happen. The closest people in my life tell me they didn't receive my text or they've sent me a reply but I didn't receive them and was wondering why I don't reply (when I didn't get anything from them in the first place!!!). They wouldn't lie, I know. haha. It can be frustrating, but hey, if it's important, then you call ;)

yeah especially when you are outta signal, if im in my basement and dont have a signal and someone sends me a text i wont recieve it for like 2 days, lots of times people dont get the messages cuz the area they are in i find.

From what I learned working at Telus Mobility years ago, its that SMS should be 100% reliable. The message is sent to the system, and the system repeatedly tries to send it to the phone when it comes back into a reception covered area. How long the system queues it before giving up is another question.

Funny you should say that... I went four days with no text messages just last week... didn't even realize it until my buddy found me online and said he'd been sending tons of messages and wondered why I hadn't replied. Call Telus... seemed there was a message "stuck" in the queue and all the others were jammed up behind it. Whatever he did to release it, I got 25 messages in the next 30 seconds or so (including a bunch of test messages).

So yeah, maybe Telus SMS *should* be 100%... but it ain't.

Iunno, lol there are times where i dont reply txt msgs because my txt msgs is full and im too lazy to delete so i wait for awhile till i start to delete some and then txt msg bck.
