build yourself a LS/VTEC instead of buying a B18c1
in the end, the LS/VTEC will make more power than the B18c1 with less money spent

beside that fact, the GSR head although with the better head casting than the B16 is very limited with what you can use as a intake manifold

btw, a B20/VTEC is much more sexier than a LS/VTEC ;)

zyup. you'd pretty much be limited to blox or skunk2 intake mani with the c1.
the b16 head is the same pr3 cast as itr, so you could source the itr mani and port match it for pretty cheap
with the p30 pistons, you'd be laughing at c1's
thuggin on a budget

I'll show you pics of my block... with a rod sticking half way out of it... cuz the rod bolt broke. It's not a myth lol. I was boosted though it wasn't just the RPM's however I was shifting at 8400. If your just keeping it stock though the rod bolts MIGHT be considered overkill but for the small price... why not?

Berz out.

That's interesting. Are you sure it was the rod bolt or did it spin a bearing or seize or anything first? I guess it's possible if you were making some serious power to eat the rod too.

you could throw a bottom end stiffener in the block from Endyn, to help with the higher revs, what are you putting this in???

step 1: sell the car
step 2: buy a 5 speed
IMHO

Berzerker 03-25-2009 09:13 AM

^^^ I gotta go with that option as well.... Unless you want to keep it auto? If your looking to do a manual conversion its probably easier to just get a new car bud.

integ99 03-25-2009 08:22 PM

welfare 03-25-2009 09:31 PM
