Question for the guys~

Would you pefer your girl to wear make-up all the time?
Do you generally go for girls with a lot of make-up on all the time or no?
How heavy do you perfer the make-up?

I've asked a lot of guys this questions....but I often question if they are telling the truth. Almost 80% of them will say they perfer girls to not put on any make-up and still look nice....but in reality, not everyone can date a pretty girl like that right? What if you girl is only ok looking?

I know we all hate the powder cake face with the colours of the rainbow on her face, but what about a moderate amount of make-up for the right occation?

And for skincare wise...

How many guys here actually use skin-care products? I'm not talking about just the moisturizer/lotion...but the whole clean+toner+moisturizer set + etc.

You know that's how gay guys look so hot right? Too bad they're gay....:(

I prefer no makeup but naturally pretty however if a girl feels the need to wear make up as long as it looks like they aren't wearing makeup that is the trick.

^ Well of course except for the gay part....and I'm not talking about the flamboyant type who have GAY carved into their forhead wearing rainbow color from head to bottom....

But the ones that are professionals that take care of their body well....eat well...go to the gym on a regular bases.....have a perfect skin tone....care about what they wear....style their hair....NOT just when they need to go out and party.....

I care about my skin and do what I can to keep it looking good. I use lotions on my arms (I shave them) to keep them soft and not dry. As for my face I don't really have any issues with my skin anymore so its au natural for me there.

being 100% honest, if the girl is hot without make up then i dont think most guys would notice enough to care. but when they do not look good with make up its embarrassing to be out in public with them. like a girl going out somewhere with a guy wearing pants that are too short for him. not to be conceited but fix yourself up before you leave the house.

unless you look good without it. i knew a girl who couldnt wear most make ups because she had super sensitive skin but she looked like a super model to me. then i knew some others who looked like 10s dolled up, but minus the dolling.....not so much.

edit: to answer more specifially, i prefer make up most times IF they know how to use it/put it on. some girls dont need as much cause they know how to maximize with less. some girls put on tons but have no idea what they are doing. I usually like the effort put in, but will usually only really notice unless they have lots of make up that looks bad or next to no make up that looks bad. when you're doing it right, its not even noticeable.

and no 'guy make ups' are used by me.

If the girl is wearing makeup, I don't really want to be able to tell. Just enhance her look, don't change it. That's one artform my ex had down, she looked alright without makeup, but perfect with, but to anyone else who hadn't seen her before and after, you wouldn't have been able to tell she was wearing any.

I prefer my girl to wear make-up most of the time when we go shopping or something, but if just running to the grocery store and grabbing something, she does not wear any.

make-up is not for beauty alone

it is also done to respect the place/event that you attend

I'm in for girls using makeup, so long as I don't feel like I'm licking icing off of her face when I kiss her.

I say, if it makes you look better, then use it, because not everybody is biologically good looking.

I personally don't use any skin care products, save the occasional face scrub in the shower.
But I'm not gay either. Just good looking.

its Not cool when the girl wears alot of make up because it can change the way a person can look by SO much,

in the past i was seeing a girl like this(didnt know this was the case until this event)...
she looked pretty cute with make up, however, one night after a drunk evening at caprice i walked down to her apartment and she didnt know i was coming. I woke up the next morning and i went like this -_-

funny thing is last weekend i was at the mall with some friends and i see her walking with her parents. She wasn't wearing any make-up and i knew it was her. I told the guys it was the same girl and they didn't even recognize her!

With minimal make-up you KNOW how the lady looks with and without out it and you can still recognize her. My gf doesn't wear a lot yet she still looks amazing (and recognizable) every time i see her.

I'd say more make up should be applied when going out somewhere fancy, but, if you're just going to buy groceries or hanging out somewhere a lot is not needed.

edit* however ladies, just one random evening you should put on a lot of make up to intensify the situation in the bedroom

the only skin care product i use is moisturizer for my face since i have dry skin, otherwise i don't use anything else since i have pretty good skin

as for girls, i prefer no make up, but i know girls gotta use it
the best is to make it look like your not wearing any. use enough to enhance your facial features is good, and maybe a little darker makeup for special events where you would have to dress up

and for sure, no crazy makeup, i don't wanna go out with my girl looking like i shot her in the face with the makeup gun set to whore

simple and clean, thats the way to go

i agree with Grandmaster. I prefer no make, or subtle make up if she has to

bang on, she should look at least presentable without make-up and looking banging with make-up, but not a night and day comparison(unless it was for the better (IE: No Make-up = HOT, Make-up = HOTTER)

I use a few face-washes and moisturizer's cause my skin is also dry =/

jesus, it seems like girls who don't wear make up when they go out are few and far between these days.
These are the girls us guys are always seeking. makeup = cake up, baked up and faked up!!

pff speak for your self. i dont mind a girl who cares about her appearence. lazy girls who refuse to wear make up, have those weak short hair cuts, and walk around everywhere in sweats and 'yoga' wear and the biggest disappointments ever. they have everything they need to be hot yet they chose not to to either make some kind of point or cause they are lazy. thats sad

work & wear make up -> she shows respect to her employers
formal dinner & wear make up -> respect to you
go to a bar & wear make up -> respect to you again

shopping & wear make up -> slut
school & wear make up -> slut
seeing friends (maybe guys) & wear make up -> slut
she goes to your house & wear make up -> GTFO
you guys are going to have sex & wear make up -> WTF

note: makeup's supposed to accentuate/compliment/improve the natural features of a woman. if she's good at it, shouldn't look like she has much on.
