I have to say, I know this is a beer league, the scorekeeping is HORRIBLE. I have 5 goals taken away from my stats and given to somebody on the bench while it was scored, 3 of the 5 goals were breakaways, I mean how can you screw up on a breakaway? I know stats are nothing in a beer league but c'mon, it's like they're saying "oh who scored that? ok let's just make up a number". It's funny because some guy on our team seems to be getting a lot of the incorrect stats which is giving him pretty good numbers and he's new to the game too! I think he has 10 goals and 8 of them were given to him... it's quite amusing now.

u gotta get your captain to email to the score guy. i tried to get them fixed by emailing bryan but then he told me to tell my captain to email some score guy.

Stat change guy is Ryan Samson. He's also 1 of the photographers for the league.

who here plays with a mouthguard? i dont use one at the moment but am considering 1 because last 2 games i watched i saw 2 guys lose at least 1 tooth each.

I used to. Then I stopped. Then I knocked a teammates two front teeth out with some danglies hanging out by accident.

Now I wear a mouth guard.

if you don't want a concussion, wear a mouthguard

mouthguards aren't meant to protect your teeth, they are there so when there is impact to your head your teeth don't bang together preventing more damage from a concussion

actually it is now proven that is not the case but either way you should wear one. Almost ALL hockey insurance do not cover dental if you hit your teeth and not wearing a mouthguard.

Best ones are the custom fitted ones but if you dont want to pay $100+ there are some standard fitting ones out there. Its hella uncomfortable at first but its well worth it
(esp men who are too proud to wear a full visor....):P

i wear a straight cut visor and it the cut line is just under my eye so its pretty low, i might change next season but right now i did buy a 20 dollar mouth guard.. i will see how it is tonight at my game.

duffers will cover 40% if you are wearing a cage, and if you are wearing both a cage and a mouthguard you get 60%

don't shock doctor mouthguards come with their own dental warranty? i think depending on the model you choose, the company will reimburse you up to some ridiculous amount like 20gs. don't quote me on that though.

and if you read the fineprint you won't get 20g's... its not worth your time for the amount of coverage you get through them...
i believe it has to be certain amount of teeth or which ones... and i think you get a certain amount per tooth, so if you get 20g's or whatever the maximum you have to lose every single one of your teeth

You guys know your playoff matchups? We're 1v6 Roflcatzz Vs Kamikazes in the Bronze II div. They gave us a good show in the last game of our season so we should have a good first match-up.
