K so i'm selling a dirtbike on CL, i've posted it up a few different times
WTF is up with people leaving their number saying "call me i want to talk to you about it" then when you call, they either A) Never pick up, or B) Are no longer interested
and then when i tell people i dont do phone calls, any questions or close up pictures u want i can take and send via email, NO ONE RESPONDS!
wtf.. and even when i say, if u are truely interested say so and i'll give u my number so we can set up a viewing, no response either..

Price it low, first come first serve won't hold for anyone. That's how I sell everything, seriously even cars have never taken me longer then a few days to sell most selling first day. You lose a little because you under price it a bit but the saved aggravation is totally worth it. People love a deal and will make an effort to come get it if it's good enough.

that's what i've noticed too. i price it fair or pretty good, i get interest but nothing happens. price it low so it's a darn good deal, then things happen.
it's worth it to get it gone, but still sucks when you price it really great and ppl still throw you a lower offer, but hey, that's craigslist.

$5 means A LOT for the buyers on craigslist, so if you are selling something common, look at what everyone else are selling the same thing for and price it $5-$10 less...
usually that will get your stuffs sold within a day...
and if you are serious, put firm on price..
nothing more annoying than getting 30 emails offering 50% of what you are listing the item for
