looking for a new muffler 95 civic
I have a 95 civic sedan, needs a new muffler. I'm not great with cars, is there anything I should know about muffler shopping/pricing before i bring it into some shop? I don't want to get ripped off.
well just to give u a heads up, for honda civics after market or OEM muffler comes with the cat back pipe (meaning it has to be disconnected from the cataylic converter.. unless a shop that specializes in butchering the work, they can cut it and weld a muffler on. shop labour charges ranges from 60-120$ (depending which garage u get into) usually a muffer assembly costs about 130 + (just say labour rate is 80$ usually it takes 0.8-1.2 hours to do) that is still near the 300$ ball park guess.
