The violin-playing part isn't too difficult to do (simple robotics), but the way they made the swaying of the body look "lifelike" is quite impressive. (one of the hardest things to do in robotics imo)

technologically, it is impressive creating a robot that can play violin and swing its butt.

but speaking from someone who has played violin for 12 years...he sucks, and most likely cannot pass the grade 1-2 examination.

EDIT: oh wait, he can't even do 2nd or 3rd position...nvm, fail.
