Sector111 Lotus Exige

Sector111 unveils its completely revamped Lotus Exige. Upgrades include a Katana supercharged 1.8L inline-4 engine that generates 240+ hp and 162lb-ft of torque, rocketing it from 0-60mph in just 4.5-seconds

A Nitron Exige GT3 triple adjustable suspension system offers great on and off track performance. Low & high speed compression and rebound levels can be adjusted to insure the Sector111 Exige's ride is uncompromised on the track or in the canyons.

Doesn't the Exige include an eaton supercharger already?

Doesn't the stock elise run 4.7 seconds from 0 - 60 mph?

i though with these cars HP isn't where its at. Its its small engine combine with lightweight and go cart like cornering. am i right?

underscore 03-26-2009 11:20 PM

^ the stock Exige makes around 225? HP

so it looks like they just added a new supercharger (or freed up the airflow), new coils and some decals.

still looks amazing though.

yes but one would think that when you pay for a new supercharger you would gain HP, not lose it :lol

mpr 03-26-2009 11:33 PM

I believe it is the 220 hp supercharged version of the exige. Then the pulley and tuning was modified. I do not think they will swap to a Katana supercharger which is the same eaton mp62 supercharger for the exige.

As for the horsepower. Everyone needs more power.

450 HP Lotus Exige.

dk_wasabi 03-27-2009 07:32 AM

believe me, whats on paper does not do it justice.

the weight and handling of the exige puts it in own class.

its basically 260hp in a tiny ass sardine can.

never heard of a VAG engine, I'm assuming it's completely different from stock then.

Nope, old Exige S is 220HP newer ExigeS240 is 240hp but Shinoo/Sector111's Exige was a regular Exige so it shares same HP as the Elise but Sector111 makes the Katana Supercharger for it.

asian_XL 03-29-2009 07:11 PM

^ it has been talked about already...read the entire post.

220, 240, 260hp makes not much different on a car like this. If you have driven one
before, you will understand. I got fooled in the past and driven a rover k-series 135hp
Elise, it's still a muthafcuking quick car.

I am more impressed by the suspension system, the stock set hugs the corner pretty
well already, I can't imagine how well it can do with the upgraded setup.

mpr 03-29-2009 07:34 PM

I think CD understands quite well.

CD: saw your new wheels the other day :)
