NSX dream is going to be on hiatus for a while. a long while.

but i'll always look back at this thread and smile like a retard.

Don't need to look back at the thread, it seems that retard smile is permanently ingrained.

Scroll through the thread and tell me who brought up the supra? Yup..Toyota fags.

You notice how the OP asked a question about the NSX only and not any other car. He's clearly got the NSX in mind for many reason.

As usual...these NSX topics leads to haters talking about Corvettes, Supra etc.. being faster....a turbo civic is faster than all them...all hail the Civic?

hahahha! :haha:

Anyways, the NSX has always been by dream car because of the amount of engineering that went into it during its inception and the timeless design it possesses.

It's been many people's dream car because they have no hope of buying a wild exotic.

Not saying they aren't nice but when an NSX is $30grand it's not cool anymore.

HUH??? Your rebuttals are just getting weaker and weaker pal. First off, my question is specially for driving in the city. All I needed was a simple answer to that and it doesn't pertain to other parameters (and yes, I'm aware that we have highways too but that wasn't the point I was trying to make, clearly, your comprehension skills is elementary at best). Also, there is a difference between 600 to 300 hp. IT'S MATHEMATICALLY THERE FOR YOU TO SEE!!! If it's too tough for you to grasp, try this at home, count all your fingers 30 times (assuming you are not deviated in some form or shape and have 5 to begin with in each hand) and then 60 times, it's twice the effort.

It's not about the number of power.
It's about the why would you need bla bla bla.
And why would you want 300hp?
You don't need 300hp in the city.

i didnt know they're rare in japan as well

not rare per se, but they hold their value very well in Japan. in fact, some tuners in Japan buy NSXs from America and ship it over to Japan cuz it works out cheaper for them, haha. I think another reason they do that is because the compression ratio is a little less on the USDM NSXs compared to the JDM ones. a better candidate for turbo'ing an NSX.

i love how you clearly took your sweet time to post up a coherent sentence. i can actually see you there typing slowly and re-reading it five times to make sure it isn't one of your normal clusterfucks of a post.

btw: i'm not too dumb to understand. it's just that i don't speak gibberish like you do. as long as you post like you just did there, like a person who isn't ignorant, then we'd communicate just fine. it wouldn't change the fact that you're a douche, but the communication would be fine.

Yes I type very slow.
And I don't have a life just like some one who keep going on Revscene.
Do I have to type a 10,000 word essay to point out you are just too dumb to understand??

Main thing i dont like about nsx is your stuck with 205-235 max front tires and if u go bigger than 205 the car tracks all over the place. So your braking power is gonna be limited unless u run wide fenders.

Well said. They can be very reliable if you take care of them. OEM parts are easily available and most of the nic-nacs share common part numbers with other Honda's and Acura's. The window regulator goes for about $650 USD. The equivalent part for a Civic would be about $150. OEM parts are MUCH cheaper in the US for some reason even after the exchange rate but I find that most places that offer parts on-line will not ship to Canada. If you pick up a an older one, expect to be replacing any or all of the following if they have not been replaced recently already:
-window regulators
-coil packs
-brake rotors
-various seals and rubber parts (they tend to crack and dry out over time)
-timing belt
-water pump
-coolant hoses (all 20-something of them!) :)

As for aftermarket parts, they can get VERY pricey. I'm assuming this because manufacturers have to do lower production runs. If the transmission IS in the snap ring range, the world is not over. Just replace the snap ring. Easy fix.

Canadian Honda Stealership is a Joke, they rip people off for OEM parts unless you know some techs who work there.

Otherwise, buy it from Delray Acura or Unlimited Honda and have them shipped to Point Roberts, Declare it yourself across the border

Save you so much $$$$
