Insuring a Salvage/Rebuilt...

Hi, recently a car was written off (repairs cost more than book value - deemed so by ICBC). The car is definately NOT beyond repair.... can it be insured with a few minor fixes, so it drives safely/normally with its current title/status? If not, what steps need to be taken to get it back on the road?

yea, you gotta do the repairs then get inspections done. Once its passed all inspections needed you can insure it but it will be registered at a rebuilt

How about visiting the mechanic who will be doing the inspection and asking him that question?
